Day 01 : Arrival Delhi

On
arrival at Delhi at international Airport you will be welcomed by our
representative then transfer to the hotel where we hold the room on
ready occupancy basis. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 02 : Delhi
After breakfast take sightseeing tour of historic city visiting Old
Delhi visiting the majestic Red Fort, a marvel in red sandstone, Jama
Masjid, the largest mosque in India, both built by emperor Shah Jahan
of Taj Mahal fame, Rajghat - memorial of Mahatma Gandhi & a
Rickshaw ride past through the silver street in Chandani Chowk, Later
New Delhi to include Rashtrapati Bhawan, one-time imperial residence of
the British viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of
the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war; the Laxmi Narayan
Temple, built by the Birlas, one of India's leading industrial
families; Humayun's Tomb, lotus shaped Bhai's Temple , Qutub Minar ,
built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty; in the evening you
can visit to see light an sound show at Red fort. Return to the hotel
for overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 : Delhi - Cochin
After breakfast check out the hotel and transfer to the domestic
airport to board the flight No. S 2145 departs 0925 hours, assistance
on arrival at 1445 hours. On arrival at Kochi Airport or Railway
station, our representative will meet and transfer to hotel for 01
night stay. Cochin - Queen of Arabian seas, is one of the most
interesting cities of India and has one of the finest natural harbors
in the world. The ancient Temples, Churches and Synagogues in this
district are of special interest to archeologists and historians. The
Chinese fishing nets, the Jewish Synagogue, the Dutch palace and the
Bolgatty palace in Cochin enrich the heritage of Kerala. After noon
proceed for guided sightseeing to view the above mentioned places.

Day 04 : Cochin - Munnar

After breakfast drive to Munnar, the most
beautiful hill station on the Western Ghats at about 1600 meters above
sea level. En route visit Koodanad, the elephant training camp.
Continue to Munnar. The town is situated at the confluence of the three
mountains streams Mudrapuza, Nallathanni and Kundala. There are lakes,
reservoirs, forests and several tea estates. Eravikulam National Park
is 30 Kms from Munnar. Munnar was the summer resort of British govt. in
south. On arrival check in at hotel for 02 nights. Rest of the day free
to relax or for own activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 : Munnar
Munnar is most famous for its tea and nearly 55,000 acres of land
covered with tea and look like a green carpet on earth. Morning drive
to the Munnar hills to visit Eravikulam national park, Mattupetty dam,
the scattered villages and later the tea factory. A visit to this
beautiful hilly town (old Munnar) and the local market will be
interesting. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 : Munnar – Periyar
After breakfast drive to Thekkady. The drive Munnar to periyar will be
an unforgettable experience through the cardamom hills and by the
valleys and hills. This will be one of the best drives you have during
this tour. The very sound of the word Thekkady conjures up images of
elephants, unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations. In
the Periyar forest of Thekkady is one of the finest wildlife reserves
in India, and spread across the entire district are picturesque
plantations and hill towns that hold great opportunities for treks and
mountain walks. On arrival check in at hotel for 02 nights. Evening go
for a 02 hours boat cruise in the lake to watch wild animals. Overnight
at hotel.
Day 07 : Periyar
Periyar, one of the most famous wildlife sanctuaries of South India
famous for Elephants. Spread across 777 sq. km is thick evergreen
forest; this Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in
1978. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique
experience of viewing wildlife at the close quarters from the safety of
a boat on Periyar Lake. Morning go for a 02 hours boat cruise in the
lake to watch wild animals. Later to visit spice plantations. Overnight
at hotel.
Day 08 : Periyar – Kumarakom

After breakfast drive to Kumarkom, one of the
most beautiful backwater sites in this state. En route visit coco and
rubber plantations. On arrival check in at backwater resort for 01
night. Kumarakom is a paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy
fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and
canals adorned with white lilies. Situated on the Vembanad Lake, in
this small water world you'll come across plenty of traditional country
crafts, boats and canoes which will take you into the heart of the
scenic lake. Rest of the day free to relax. Overnight at resort.
Day 09 : Kumarakom - Alleppey
After breakfast you will board in the HOUSE BOAT from the resort to go
for 22 hrs cruise through the world famous backwaters of Kerala. The
backwaters of Kerala is world famous and the cruise in the house boat
is the best way to experience the beautiful backwaters. Alleppey has a
large network of canals and is a center for backwater cruises in our
state. The famous Nehru Trophy Boat race - the most colorful of boat
races, is held here on the second Saturday of August every year. During
the cruise you will have stops to go for short walks through the
villages. The villagers are normally pleasant and generous to the
tourists! Overnight in the boat.
Day 10 : Alleppey - Kovalam
After breakfast checkout and drive to Kovalam. On arrival check in at
resort for 02 nights stay. Kovalam, one of Kerala's most popular beach
resorts is situated just 15 kms from Trivandrum. Rest of the day free
to relax by the beach. Overnight at Resort.
Day 11 : Kovalam – Kkanyakumari - Kovalam
After breakfast proceed to Kanyakumari. En route visit Padmanabhapuram
Palace, the magnificent wooden palace constructed by the Maharajas of
Travancore. Later continue to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of
India and also a pilgrimage center of Hindus. After lunch at
Kanyakumari, go by boat to visit Vivekanada rock and Kanyakumari
temple. On the way back visit Sucheendram Temple, a well known temple
dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Overnight at Kovalam.
Day 12 : Kovalam – Ttrivandrum Airport
Morning free. Later transfer to airport/railway station for departure.
